SNAIL HATCHES IN BOY'S KNEE!

This story is about a boy who went camping and cut his knee. They cleaned it up and put a bandaid on. About a week later it started to swell and looked infected. Doctors said he might have a deadly infection called staff. Three weeks later worrying about it they noticed it turning black so his mom decided to drain the wound. When she drained the wound she saw a little thing that looked like a rock. She turned it over and realized it was a snail!!! They were so relieved that he did not have staff. This is one story that he will share with his children.

If I had a fly hatch under my skin that would be disgusting and I would probably be sick. The coolest thing to hatch under my skin would be a snail. I would not keep it. I didn't think that anything could live under your skin except for germs.

In hospitals the number of donor lungs and organs is critical, about 25 Albertans die waiting for donor lungs. But thanks to a new technology Doctors can repair lungs that before were deemed unusable. The new technology can repair these lungs and can even make them better than average lungs. Before the new technology was created the lung would usually be put on ice but sometimes the ice could damage the lungs before they got to the patient. One in four donor lungs are currently usable but with the new technology one in two lungs can be usable. It take about 10 hours to repair the lungs with this new technology. They repaired the lungs by not keeping them on ice but instead kept them at body temperature and moisture, and they kept the lungs ventilated.

Killer Snake

I think that the two boys deaths is tragic. This snake was kept illegally in the pet store below their house. It went in the ventilation and fell into where the boys were sleeping. The reason the snake killed is because they had other animals in the house and the snake thought the boys were animals. The owner of the snake was put in jail because the rock python is the second largest snake in the world and it's very violent for a snake. The snake was put down and the guy was put in jail because the python was illegally kept and not aloud in Canada, only in zoos.

I think that the people should adopt more animals. Most of the animals there are kittens or puppies. I think that it is unfair that animals that they have to sit around and not be adopted and have no family to look after them. There are too many pets because too many pets have been donated during breeding season. If I could adopt I would adopt a kitten because they are so little and cuddly. When people adopt a pet they should think if they have food, water and a place to live. They need to consider that they go to the bathroom. Pets are long term commitments.

I like this because I thought they'd have a baby sooner than later. I think it is a bit crazy everybody is just jam packed around the computer watching the video feed outside the hospital. It's pretty cool that Royalty is having a baby. That hasn't happened in a long time.
